04 MRI CT IMAGE FUSION APP

UX - UI - Matlab - Desktop MRI images display cerebral tissue and bone. CT images display vasculature. Neuroradiologists currently use image fusion software (PACS) to overlap scans; to create a “super image”, to identify malformations. 

PACS uses the skull as a reference point to align images - however, sections of the skull are often missing in scans, resulting in poor alignment. 

I built an app in MATLAB and interface concept in Figma that fuses images more accurately.
